BOOK TICKET LLC ("Book Ticket", "we") runs a bookstore, a web portal and information agency, develops software and provides IT and hosting services, licenses its intellectual property, rents premises and provides consulting and advertising. What people read is personal, so we treat reading history with particular care. This policy follows the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data Protection", the Law of Ukraine "On Media" and the GDPR.

2. Book buyers and readers
For orders and reservations we process your name, contacts and the titles ordered. Your reading and purchase history is used only to fulfil orders and, if you ask, to recommend books. It is never shared with publishers, advertisers or anyone else, and never used to build advertising profiles.
3. Portal users and book club members
Portal accounts contain your name, email and any reviews you post publicly. You can post under a pseudonym and delete your reviews at any time.
4. News agency and journalism
Our news materials may mention authors, publishers and other public figures. This processing is carried out for journalistic purposes in line with media legislation.
5. Digital and hosting clients
When we host or develop systems for publishers and bookshops, the client remains the controller of its customers' data. We process it only on documented instructions under a data processing agreement and assist with data subject requests and security incidents.
6. Events and tenants
Event registrations: name and contact. Events may be photographed, which is announced at the start. Tenants: contracts and payments.
7. Purposes and grounds
Performance of contracts, consent (recommendations, newsletters, photos), journalistic purposes, legal obligations (fiscal, tax).
8. Recipients
Couriers, payment providers, data centres and cloud providers in Ukraine and the EU, tax authorities. We do not sell personal data.
9. Retention
- Orders: as required by tax law.
- Recommendation history: until you switch recommendations off or delete your account.
- Portal accounts: until deleted, or 2 years of inactivity.
- Hosted client data: contract term plus 30 days.
10. Your rights
You may access, correct and delete your data (subject to legal retention), restrict or object to processing, obtain a portable copy and withdraw consent. We reply within 30 days. Complaints may be addressed to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights or an EU supervisory authority.
